Started off by brainstorming how capture the energy and experience of a live Yeah Yeah Yeahs show. The project was inspired by my own experience seeing them in October 2017 at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs is lead by dynamic and powerful singer Karen O. I wanted to emulate the same energy she has while performing in my type. The music could be categorized as dance-punk, post-punk, and indie rock, the concerts are loud, energetic. Karen O is known for some crazy antics. I got inspiration from old punk concert posters. I wanted to have a more rough look, opposed to a polished and perfect font.
