Pony Craft Cocktails
I wanted to put my own twist on the new trend of ready-to-drink cocktails and brought a retro aesthetic to the design and brand expansion. Pony Craft Cocktails takes you back in time, to the heyday of Palm Springs. The city is home to eccentric road signs and mid-century houses, welcoming all the people trying to find some relaxation and escape. Three carefully crafted cocktails, made of only the best ingredient while keeping it simply. There’s nothing better than simple, well-made drink. The cans might be short but the pours are long. These 8 oz cans hold a delicious, refreshing and well-balanced drink.
Pony Craft Cocktails are the perfect drink for a sunny day by the pool or poured over ice while listening to some vinyl. Pony allows you to create your own desert oasis – wherever you might be.
The cocktails come in an easy-to-share 6 pack. The 6 pack holder is made from cardboard by-product.

Mid-century design and roadside signage
The funkier the font, the better. Type can convey so much, so why not have some fun with it? Heavy wood type with a contrasting accordion background hits hard. The gentle script below anchored by the never out of style stars.

Brand colors and typography used throughout the project
The patterns used on the cans, as well as the color, indicate the specific cocktail. These patterns are inspired by a popular mid-century design feature - breeze blocks. While the patterns vary, the style and use of the patterns create consistency across the different products.
